Today, on 6th February Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
To celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, events and initiatives will take place throughout the year, culminating in a four day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June. Hollingbourne will be taking part with the below events.
Thursday 2nd June: Beacon Lighting
This will take place at the Millenium Green, with the Beacon being lit at 9.45pm
Sunday 5th June: The big Jubilee Lunch & Street Party
Saturday 11th June: Hollingbourne Summer Fete, Jubilee edition
