Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic travelling on Hollingbourne Hill, Hollingbourne from 24th January 2021 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00.
The road will be closed adjacent to number 1 Bank Cottages, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hollingbourne Hill, Court Dane Shaws, Court Dane Shaw, Swanton Street, The Street, Primrose Lane, Bredgar Road, Hearts Delight Road, Wrens Road, Sutton Baron Road, Pond Farm Road, Oad Street, A249 Sittingbourne Road, Detling Hill, A249 Newnham Court Roundabout, Bearsted Road, New Cut Road, A20 Ashford Road, Eyhorne Street, Upper Street and vice versa.
The closure and other restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gateway works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
