While it’s hard not to worry if you are struggling financially, there are some things that can help you stay safe and well. There is lots of advice and support on our website to help you with money and benefits issues, household bills, finding work, health and wellbeing, as well as support for families, young people, the elderly, and vulnerable people. Supporting our residents is our top priority but, of course, we cannot do this alone. Our Kent Together campaign (born out of the community spirit of the pandemic) is still going strong in these ongoing difficult times, will see us working closely with partners and the voluntary sector to help support those who need it most. This has been another challenging year, and this looks set to continue into 2023. As always it is so heartening to see local communities come together to respond so positively. In the spirit of Kent Together, please also take time to spare a thought for those who are on their own or are struggling and may benefit from a quick call or kind gesture. I hope that everyone has a very happy festive period, a time to enjoy being with family and friends and to look forward as much as we can to 2023. Shellina Prendergast
