Please see the link Elections – Maidstone Borough Council
The Polling Station is at the Cardwell Pavilion, and it will be necessary for all residents who can vote, which is those upon the Electoral Register for the area, to bring along a form of photographic ID when they come to place their votes.
You can use any of the following:
- passport
- full or provisional driving licence
- blue badge
- older person’s or disabled person’s bus pass
- identity card bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)
- biometric immigration document
You can use your ID if it is out of date, as long as the photo looks like you. There are other types of ID that you can use, and you can find out more on The Electoral Commission website.
If you don’t have any photographic ID, do not despair, as you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate for free.
The deadline to apply for free voter ID for the elections is 5pm on Wednesday 24th April 2024. Please see the link Voter ID | Electoral Commission or Apply for a Voter Authority Certificate
