Last year , Hollingbourne Parish Council was successful in their grant application for the ‘Love Where You Live’ initiative, organised by Maidstone Borough Council. The scheme was set up to encourage community groups to improve their local environment for which we were able to purchase some Spring bulbs to brighten up the village.
Thanks to all of our volunteers, of all ages, who came out to help with the planting, the flowers are looking beautiful.
