Are you concerned that your garden waste has not yet been collected today? The following update has been given to residents by the Maidstone Borough Council:
Due to staffing issues, we had to prioritise household waste over garden waste. As a result all garden rounds are cancelled today. We apologise for the disruption.
We’ve advised residents signed up to the text notification service, but in addition if your garden bin was not collected, crews will not be returning for it. They’ll take extra on your next scheduled collection, please present it in a cardboard box or other open container.
