Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of Eyhorne Street, Hollingbourne, from 20th May 2024 with estimated completion by 24th May 2024.
Eyhorne Street, Hollingbourne, will be closed outside The Windmill Public House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Eyhorne Street, Upper Street, Hollingbourne Hill, Court Danes Shaw, Swanton Street, The Street, Primrose Lane, Bredgar Road, Hearts Delight Road, Wrens Road, Sutton Baron Road, Pond Farm Road, Oad Street, A249 Sittingbourne Road, A249 Detling Interchange, A249 Sittingbourne Road, A249 Newnham Court Roundabout, Bearsted Road, New Cut Road, A20 Ashford Road, Eyhorne Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow new water connection to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.
