The Lee Family announces the passing of their father Peter Lee, who died in hospital on 27 April.
There will be a funeral service for him on Tuesday 24 May, at 3.30pm, at Vinters Park Crematorium, followed by refreshments at the Sugar Loaves from 4.30pm. All are welcome, but asked that if possible, to RSVP to this email address: peterleememorial@gmail.com
They would like the service and wake to be a celebration of Peter’s life, so please dress as unconventionally as you like. No doubt many people remember his idiosyncratic dress style; we think he would hate for everyone to be dressed sombrely in black.
In lieu of flowers, the family have decided to take charitable donations in aid of the Meadows Trust. They have set up a JustGiving page for that purpose (https://justgiving.com/fundraising/peterjohnlee), and the funeral director will also take donations by cheque from those who are not so technologically able.
The Meadows Trust was a cause very close to Peter’s heart, and Jenny, Peter’s daughter knows she speaks for her whole family when she says how proud she is of all he helped the Trust achieve. She is especially keen to have contributions from those who knew and worked with him for the Eulogy.
