Hollingbourne is a village with a population of around 900 souls and nestles under the North Downs some five miles to the east of Maidstone. The village has nearly one hundred listed buildings and three conservation areas and is surrounded by several sites of special scientific interest (SSSI’s). There are spectacular views across the village and Kent towards the South Downs from the top of Hollingbourne Hill. The village is on the southern edge of the North Kent Downs AONB which stretches from Bromley to Dover.
